Jerry Piper began his music career as a classical violinist. Today he plays keyboards and sings Irish and Pop music at parties, weddings, dances and many other types of events. He works with the XCaliburband for larger functions, or as a soloist.
Jerry studied music at the Ohio State Music Conservatory in Columbus under Robert Gerle, world renowned violinist. He went on to play in the US Army Orchestra for functions at the White House and State Department. Over his career Jerry has played violin, viola, cello, piano, organ, synthesizer, trombone,harmonica, and sang in choirs as well as performed in musicals including West Side Story, Camelot, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Carousel, South Pacific, The Sound of Music, and Oklahoma.
