Jerry Piper studied classical violin at Ohio State University. He also played with the Middletown Symphony Orchestra in Middletown, Ohio, and later with 'Pershings Own' - the United States Army Band at Fort Myer, VA. Today he plays keyboards and sings popular music. Over the years he has appeared at shows featuring Tony Bennett, Kenny Rogers, Leslie West, The Drifters, Moogy Klingman (Utopia), Pianist Marilyn Neely, Peter Shickele, and others.
In Washington DC he helped create and the run nightclub - "Louis Rock City" - a 2000 person venue in Arlington Virginia, which showcased national acts like Peter Frampton and Exile. Jerry played with 'All of the Above' a national act produced by Toni Bongiovi.
